Wanda Louise Prewett, 82, of Muldrow, OK passed away in Waco, TX on Friday January 6, 2023. She was born May 6, 1940 in Scranton to the late James Andrew and Eva Pauline (Jackson) Smith. Wanda was a homemaker and of the Holliness faith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George David Prewett; grandchild, DeAnne Melton and great grandchild, Jordan Nira.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Ocker Memorial Chapel with interment at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Friday, January 13, 2023 at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson St., Van Buren, AR.

Survivors include daughters, Darla Melton and husband Harold of Fort Smith and Brenda Modgling and husband Christopher of Belton, TX; son, Gerald Prewett of Muldrow; sisters, Betty Walters and husband Jerry of Muldrow, Sue Shepherd and husband Charles of Van Buren, Vida Tibbett and husband Bill of Natural Dam and Debbie Bay and husband Gene of Spiro; brothers, Charles Smith and wife, Sandra, Hubert Smith and wife Sandy and Ricky Smith and wife Rita all of Muldrow; 9 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Rice, Christopher Rice, Nathan Rice, Dakota Johnson, Braedon Blackburn and Elijeah Melton.
