Obituary for Vernie Ray Welch Sr.
Vernie Ray Welch, Sr., 83, of Mountainburg, AR passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023 in his home. He was owner/operator of his own construction company for many years. He was born October 13, 1939 in Blue Field, VA to the late Luther and nannie (Doss) Welch.
Cremation is under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Welch of the home; daughters, Sue Ellen Taylor of Fallston, MD, Lorrie Ann Lovenstein of Perryville, MD; sons, Vernie Ray Welch, Jr. of Bentonville and Mark Allen Welch of MD; stepson, Ross Hunt Logsdon of Pittsburgh, PA; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
