Obituary for Ruth Jonnie Fay Thomas (Denney)
Ruth Jonnie Fay Thomas, 79 of Barling passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 in her home. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob R. Thomas; a son Jimmy D. Blackburn; her parents Marion Kiles and Rosie Louese (Minton) Denney; her brother Marion David Denney; a granddaughter Cassandra Blackburn.
Funeral service will be at Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
She is survived by two daughters Rose Marie Bartlett of St. Cloud, Florida, Rhonda Sue Lutz of Tennessee; two sons William Frazer Blackburn of England, Jack Wesley Blackburn Sr. of Barling; one sister Katherine Ladean Helms of Fresno, California; one brother James Dwight Denney of Fort Smith; one stepson Jimmy Dale Thomas and wife Selema of Pixley, California; twenty eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
