Robert Carter Gilchrist, 57, of Fort Smith, AR passed peacefully on 21 July 2022 in his home. Robert was born in October 1964 in San Antonio, TX to Ronald and Patsy Gilchrist, a military family. He himself served in the U.S Air Force as a maintenance technician for two tours. After his military service he worked various jobs as a security technician, a bookkeeper, and ultimately as a caregiver to his aging parents. Robert enjoyed reading, playing strategy games and the quiet solitude of his home. He is survived by his two brothers Jeff and Darren, and their families. No services are planned at this time.
