Patsy Ruth Swaim, 86, of Van Buren passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at her home. She was a retired secretary for Fort Smith Dialysis Center, a 1954 graduate of Van Buren High School and a lifelong resident of this area. Patsy was born November 4, 1936 in Rudy to Roy L. Jamison and Ruth (Gatlin) Jamison. She was preceded in death by her father; mother; step mother, Ruth Lloyd Jamison; husband, Bill Swaim; sister, Mildred Taylor and brother, Wayne Eugene Jamison.

Graveside service will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Gracelawn Arbor with burial to follow under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson St., Van Buren, AR.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Card and husband Bob of Van Buren; granddaughter, Emily Riddle of Van Buren; several nieces and nephews including, Linda Thrasher and sisters-in-law, Alice Swaim of Van Buren and Johnnie Swaim of Fort Smith
