Obituary for Ola Lee Chadwick (Ross)
Ola Lee Chadwick, 94, of Fort Smith, AR passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. She was born in Shady Point, OK to John A and Othie (Kersh) Ross. She graduated from Alma High School in 1936 and moved to Dallas, TX. Ola was a librarian for 30 years in the Garland Public Schools. She was a member of Forefront Baptist Church and volunteered at Fountain of Youth and her church. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Dorothy Broadnax, Betty Lovett and Bobbie Baker.
She is survived by her sisters, Geraldine Holt (James) of Davenport, IA and Ann Bahil (Bob) of Conway, AR; her brother, John Ross (Judy) of Knoxville, TN and several nieces and nephews.
Services are 10:30 AM, Monday, October 10, 2022 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith with a private burial to follow. The family will visit with friends at 10:00AM Monday prior to the service.
