Norman McBroome, 78, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, formerly of McCrory, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 in Fort Smith. He was born on June 12, 1943 in McCrory, Arkansas to Stanley and Ethel (Moore) McBroome. He was a retired farmer and a member of Fort Smith Fellowship Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Peggy (Nelson) McBroome, five brothers, Billy Ray McBroome, Harold McBroome, Stanley McBroome, Jr. Alphas McBroome and Vernon McBroome, and four sisters, Elaulia Shadwiak, Murlene Burns, Sona McBroome and Laquita Joy McBroome.
Funeral services are 2:00PM, Monday, February 7, 2022 at Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home in McCrory, Arkansas with burial to follow in Woodman Cemetery in McCrory. Service will be officiated by Reverend Ross McBroome. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the service.
He is survived by three sons, Scott McBroome and his wife Beth of Heber Springs, AR, Ross McBroome and his wife Amy of Fort Smith, AR and Bradley McBroome and his wife Tina of Maumelle, AR and seven grandchildren, Abbi, John, Madison, Kaden, Parker, Caleb and Emerson McBroome.
