Martha Marie Shipman, 75, of Mountainburg, Arkansas. Passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at a local hospital. She was retired from St. Edwards Mercy Medical Center where she was the outpatient business manager, and of the Baptist faith. Martha was an avid reader and writer, and an outdoor enthusiast. She dedicated her life to her children and was truly a loving and selfless mother. Martha was a woman of integrity and honor. She was born July 6, 1947 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late Charles and Martha Marie (Williams) Pilgrim. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Martha Pilgrim; brother, Charles Pilgrim Jr.; and son-in-law, Dakota Sabin.

The family will hold a private service at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

Martha is survived by daughters, Darla Shipman of Rogers, Arkansas, and Charity Sabin of Mountainburg, Arkansas; grandchildren, John McBroom, Ashley Scudder, Ariel Nelson, Lacey Horn, Macey Roberts; great-grandchildren, Landon Scudder, Grayson Scudder, Ethan Alexander, Kaydence Alexander, Graham Nelson, Marren Nelson, Rawling Nelson, Dakota Roberts, Rowen Roberts; sister, Darla June Lowell.
