Obituary for Lola I. "Jeanne" Foster (Noble)
Lola Imogene “Jeanne” Foster, 94, of Fort Smith passed away on Tuesday January 17, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born July 4, 1928 in Stratford, OK to Ernest and Mary (Donaho) Noble. She was the executive secretary for Foster Professional Search, a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church, the Fort Smith Bridge Club, and the American Contract Bridge League where she attained the rank of Life Master in 1987.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years Gary Foster; four sons, Scott Foster (Sandee) of Montgomery, AL, Phil Coventon (Linda) of Kansas City, Mo, Charles Thompson of Spring, TX and Mark Thompson (Kathy) of Spring, TX; two brothers, Bob Noble of Stratford, OK and Tommy Noble of Noble, OK; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside service will be 1:00 PM Friday January 20, 2023 at U.S. National Cemetery in Ft. Smith under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Ft. Smith.
