Kenneth Don Preston, 75, of Alma passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at his home. He was a Baptist minister and was an Air Force Veteran. Kenneth was born August 27, 1947 in Fort Smith to the late Neal and Sue (McCafferty) Preston. He was also preceded in death by his son, Brandon Neal Preston and a brother, Frank Preston.

Funeral service will be 12:00 noon, Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Concord Baptist Church with burial prior at 11:00 AM at the U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Preston of the home; daughter, Shannon Callahan and husband Brad of Mulberry; son, Brian Preston and wife Rychelle of Russellville, sister, Lynn Welborn and husband Bill of Mt. Pleasant, TX; brothers Drew Preston and wife Cathy of Mountainburg and Terry Preston and wife Debbie of Van Buren and grandchildren, Alli Preston, Brandon Preston, Cooper Preston, Joshua Callahan and Rachel Callahan.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Callahan, Brad Callahan, Drew Preston, Terry Preston, Brian Preston and Chad Wilson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Aaron Huffman and Ryan Wilson.

Visitation will be from 4:00 until 6:00 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Ocker Memorial Chapel, 700 Jefferson, Van Buren.
