Obituary for Karen Sue McGinthia (Pigg)
Karen Sue McGinthia, 74, of Fort Smith, Arkansas died on Sunday, July 17, 2022 in a local hospital. She was born in November 28, 1947 in Joplin, Missouri to John Leroy and Betty Jean (Shaffer) Pigg. She was a retired IT Network Specialist from Wingfoot of Fort Smith and formerly employed at Rheem and ABF. She is a member of Impact Church in Alma, AR. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Annette Cothran and two brothers, Gary Lee and John Pigg.
A family held memorial service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Impact Church in Alma, AR.
She is survived by her husband James of Fort Smith; a son, James McGinthia, Jr. (Rachel) of Muldrow, OK; a sister, Patricia Musgrove of Tulsa, OK; a brother, Mike Tudor of Neosha, MO; a son in law, Tim Cothran of Mansfield, AR and five grandchildren, Garrett and Zoe McGinthia and Lydia, Isaac and Levi Cothran.
