John O Clark, 83, of Fort Smith passed away on Saturday Nov. 26, 2022 in Fort Smith. He was born Dec. 1, 1938 in Long Star, AR to Finis and Thelma (Corbell) Clark. He was a factory worker for Baldor and a former employee of Arkansas Casket Company. John was a member of the Grace Chapel Church and a U.S. Marine veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores Evelyn Clark and one son, Timothy Clark and three brothers, Mark, Glen and Billy Clark.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Corley and her husband Ray of Fort Smith; two sons, Jonathan Clark and his wife Valerie of Bonanza and Michael Clark and his wife Crystal of Fort Smith; two sisters, Sue Miller of Arkoma and Connie Earls and her husband Gene of Arkoma; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday November 30, 2022 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with private burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 10- 5 Pm Tuesday at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home,
