Obituary for Jamie Kay Pense (Sims)
Jamie Kay (Sims) Pense, 52, of Chester, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023 in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and Co-Owner of Arkansas Berry Plant Farm. Jamie was a graduate of Mountainburg High School and a member of Pigeon Creek Freewill Baptist Church. She was born February 23, 1970 in Fort Smith, AR. She was preceded in death by her father, James Sims.
Graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2023 at Pense Reed Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Pense of the home; daughters, Kassy Pense of Ft. Smith, Lindsie Dyer of Chester and Brooke Pense of Farmington; son Levi Pense of the home; Mother, Kay Sims of Mulberry and Father and Mother -in-law, Don and Verda Pense of Mountainburg, AR and a host of cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Richard Dyer, Jeb Sample, Rodney Kimes, Michale Sims and Steve Linder, Jr.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Mountainburg Jr. High Boys Athletes.
The family will visit with friends from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
