Obituary for James Argel Hopkins Jr.
James Argel Hopkins, Jr. 75 of Van Buren passed away Monday, February 6, 2023 at a local hospital. He was a clinical engineer at St. Edwards Hospital in Fort Smith. He was a member of the VFW, a Ham radio operator, enjoyed gardening and working with his animals and woodworking and was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Van Buren. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Eula Marie (Rose) Hopkins.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Hopkins of the home; two daughters Kimberly Kozubovska of Menomonie, Wisconsin and Teresa Lalonde of Van Buren; one brother Dwight Stanley Hopkins; seven grandchildren.
Funeral mass will be held 10A.M., Friday, February 10, 2023 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Van Buren with burial to follow at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
Rosary will be held at Ocker Memorial Chapel, Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 7:00 PM.
700 Jefferson Street in Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Joe Grandon, Aaron Hopkins, Gary Mullins, James Mullins, Marty Cluck and Kenneth Pixley.
