Obituary for Gale Ann French (Bevilacqua)

Gale Ann French, 69, of Fort Smith passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at home, surrounded by her loved ones. Gale was born on July 16, 1952 to John and Elnora Bevilacqua. Her life was full of Community involvement and she touched many lives’ through her various roles. She taught aerobics for several years. She was a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church and sang on the praise team and she was the president of the local Epsilon Sigma Alpha chapter, a title she retained until her passing. Her sisters will carry her memory with them forever.
Many will remember Gale for her skill at flower arrangements, zest for life, generosity, and love of the Razorbacks. Her Hog-themed office at AAA self-storage was much loved by tenants. Always a social butterfly, anywhere we went she saw a familiar face.
Gale was preceded in death by her husband, Larry French and her son, John Martin.
She is survived by her son, Charles French and his wife Jessica.
Funeral services are Wednesday, 10:00AM, April 13, 2022 at Grand Avenue Baptist Church with burial at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas. The family will visit with friends from 5-7PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
