Obituary for Freda Arlene McTyre (Pixley)
Freda Arlene McTyre, 73, of Fort Smith passed away on Friday Dec. 2, 2022 in Ft. Smith. She was born January 5, 1949 to Clifford and Winnie (Atwell) Pixley, Sr. Freda was a retired custodian for the Van Buren School District.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Tammie Dahlem (Rick) of Lavaca, Donna Blake (William) of Uniontown and Tracey Grande of Van Buren; several brothers and sisters; six grandchildren, Allison Testerman (Jason), Ashleigh Staggs, Dylan Grande (Jesse), Jasmine Grande (Zack), Christian Grande (Allie) and Jeff Dahlem (Whitney); eight great-grandchildren, Jaxton Testerman, Adyson Testerman, Jerrett Testerman, Arwen Dahlen, Kayden Litchford, Sophia Grande, Jaxon Grande and Abel Grande.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The Family will visit with friends from 4-6 PM Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will Dylan and Christian Grande, Rick Dahlem, Jason Testerman, Steve Staggs and Danny Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be #8 Fire Station, Steve Gordan and Jimmy Gordan.
