Obituary for Franklin Garner Taylor
Franklin Garner Taylor, 89, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022 in his home. He is born on November 7, 1932 in Watson, Arkansas to Leonard and Birdie (Ratliff) Taylor. He was a Retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He served in both Vietnam and Korean wars. Franklin was a member of Rye Hill Baptist Church.
A private family graveside service with full military honors will be held at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. The family will visit with friends from 5-7PM on Tuesday at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife Sharon of the home; three daughters, Connie Taylor and Teresa Foxworthy (Ivan) both of Fort Smith and Rebecca Taylor of San Antonio, TX; a step daughter, Kelly Reeves of Gans, OK; step son, David Pearson of Seattle, WA; a sister, Arlene Orton; 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
