Obituary for Erma Faye Hobbs (LaRue)

Erma Faye Hobbs 88 of Rudy passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker and a member of the Branch First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Henry Hobbs; her parents Clyde & Mildred (Barnett) LaRue; a brother Bob LaRue.

Funeral will be at 2 PM Friday, February 3, 2023 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Morrison Cemetery in Rudy under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren. Visitation will be at one hour prior to service.

She is survived by her children Tim (Susie) Hobbs of Branch, Charla (Phillip) Harris of Melbourne, Florida, Paula Caswell of Rudy; grandchildren Luke (Lana) Hobbs, Daniel (Tara) Hobbs, Hannah (Jarred) Gillean, Caleb (Christen) Hobbs, Samuel (Lauren) Hobbs, Emily Harris, Jordan (Truman) Harris, Ryan Harris, Gavin Harris, Matt (Ashley) Caswell, David (Amy) Caswell and Nathaniel (Autumn) Caswell; great grandchildren Brendon Harris, Amaya Lopez, Aiden & Kieron Hobbs, Charlie, Cori and Andrew Hobbs, Ben and Joanna Hobbs, Charles and Henry Caswell, Brody Caswell, Caden and Carsyn McCabe; three sisters Peggy Hatcher, Patti Gabbard and Barbara Gould; six brothers Ray, Don, Conard, Mark, Bill and Barney LaRue.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Eugene Weaver, John Norman Weaver, Christopher Weaver and Shawn, Logan and Derrick Hatcher.
