Eldon “Skip” Ray Vincent, Jr. 71, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Wed., Nov 9, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on Dec 11, 1950 in Evansville, IN to Eldon and Doris (Miller) Vincent. He was a retired Fort Smith Police Office and a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Alexander and a brother, David Vincent.
The family will visit with friends from 2-4PM on Sunday, Nov 13, 2022 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home in Fort Smith. Funeral services are private.
He is survived by his wife Paula of the home; three sons, Eldon Vincent III (Shannon) of Centerton, AR, Jonathan Vincent (Kimberley) of Huntington, AR and Christopher Vincent (Rhonda) of Fort Smith; two step sons, Jeffrey Gillam and Bryan Gillam both of Fort Smith; two brothers, Tom Vincent of Wentzville, MO and Steve Vincent of Arkoma, OK; a sister, Angela Vincent of Fort Smith; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
