Doris Marie Rainwater, 89, of Van Buren passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Methodist Village Senior Living in Fort Smith. She was a homemaker and of the Freewill Baptist faith. Doris was born April 21, 1933 in Van Buren to the late Dewey and Ethel Marie (Gooding) Dyer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Glen Rainwater; sisters, Juanita Fox and Mary Lou Carter and brothers, Dewey Dyer, Jr., Robert Dyer, Quince Dyer, Roy Gene Dyer and Jimmy Dyer.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Ocker Memorial Chapel with interment at Hall Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 P.M. Friday, January 13, 2023 at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson St, Van Buren, AR.

Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Pendergrass and husband Charles of Muldrow; sons, Virgil Rainwater and wife Fran of Fort Smith and Calvin Rainwater and wife Cheryle of Uniontown; sister-in-law, Fay Dyer of Van Buren; grandchildren, Chris Rainwater and wife Rachael, Blake Rainwater and wife Amber, Alicia Jones and husband Rickey, Jessica Luttrell and husband Dan and Hannah Mills and husband Eli and 13 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Chris Rainwater, Blake Rainwater, Rickey Jones, Dan Luttrell, Eli Mills and Ethan Walters.
