David Austin Symonds, 39, of Van Buren passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022 in his home. He was a fencing contractor, enjoyed all things Rodeo, especially helping the younger generation and training horses. Austin was born September 21, 1983 in Fort Smith to David Symonds and Cindy Mabry. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richmond and Reba Holmes and Carl and Pansy Symonds.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 9, 2023 at Cross Roads Cowboy Church in Natural Dam with burial to follow at Oliver Springs under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. Visitation will be 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson St., Van Buren, AR.

Survivors include his father and step mother, David and Suzanna Symonds of Van Buren; mother and step father, Cindy and Mike Mabry of Pocola; fiancé, Kristen Foss of Van Buren; brothers, Justin Langley of Van Buren and Nick Mabry of Pocola and Chris Symonds of Greenwood; sisters, Lacey Williams of Pocola, Whitney Sisney of Van Buren, Cheyenne Symonds of Alma and Morgan Tudor of Tulsa; grandmother, Barbara Mabry of Pocola and countless aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Nick Mabry, Matt Russell, Mike Russell, Doug Bibbs, Zane Lopez, Eli Malone, Freddie Hogrefe and Kyle Been.
