Obituary for Charlotte Adelle Duty (Hobbs)

Charlotte Adelle Duty, 85, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Lewis Andrew and Banie Evelyn (Pierce) Hobbs. She was retired from the connecting department of Baldor and formerly worked for DeSota Furniture. Charlotte was a member of Rena Road Church of Christ and a former volunteer at Sparks Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Earl Dean Duty, her son, Earl DeWayne Duty, a grandson, Michael Clay, a sister Thelma Hatler and two brothers, Leonard and Bobby Hobbs.
Funeral services are 10:00AM, Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith with burial to follow in Seabolt Cemetery in Nicut, Oklahoma.
The family will visit with friends from 5-7PM on Friday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her daughter, Jeannie (Rod) Cassatt of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, Erik (Tara) Duty Alma, AR, Jeffrey Jones and Elizabeth Duty both of Fort Smith; four great grandchildren, Kinley, Connor and Macey Duty and Jake Rojas and two brothers, Jay Hobbs and David (Vonnie) Hobbs both of Sonora, CA.
