Obituary for Cecelia Jean Goldman (Hammond)

Cecelia Jean Goldman, 82, of Fort Smith passed away on Friday December 9, 2022 in a local hospital. She was born July 13, 1940 in Tulsa, OK to Major Mitchell Hammond and Martha Virginia (Sharp) Etter. She was a homemaker, a member of the Spradling Baptist Church, the American Legion Post #31 Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of the Embroiderers Guild of America.
Cecelia enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved doing needlecraft. She enjoyed making needlecraft gifts for family and friends, working puzzles and reading.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years John Goldman, Jr.; one daughter, Connie Hoffman (Ted) of Fort Smith; two sons, Ronald Goldman (Annette) of Barling and Robert Goldman of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, Lisa Parks of Barling, Kristel Knubley (Chris) of Fort Smith and Caitlin Hoffman of Ventura, CA; three great-grandchildren, Cali Parks, Mackenzy Knubley and Ashlyn Parks.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday December 14, 2022 at Ocker-Putman Chapel in Fort Smith with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The Family will visit with friends from 4:00-6:00 P.M. Tuesday at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home 4500 Jenny Lind Road Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be James and Allen Branham, Scotty Bates, Jan Colvett, Chris Knubley and Randy Geren. Honorary pallbearers will be Oscar Halstead and Ron Williamson.
