Obituary for Carolyn Ray Clegg (Horn)
Carolyn Ray Clegg, 74, of Fort Smith passed away on Tuesday February 1, 2022 in Fort Smith. She was born June 2, 1947 in Danville, AR to Calvin Ray and Beatrice (Owens) Horn. She was retired from Dixie Cup after 39 years, a member of the Mount Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church and a former volunteer for The Cancer Support House. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cliff Clegg, a son, Christopher Don McGeath, a brother, J.W. Horn and a step daughter, Janice Kaelin.
She is survived by her brother, Dennis Horn and his wife Nancy of Danville; one step-son, Jerry Clegg of Ft. Smith; three step-daughters, , Mary Komp, Phyllis Wheat and Gayle Gillilan all of Ft. Smith; one grandson Will Woods and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:30 PM Saturday February 5, 2022 at Mt. Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church in Waltreak, AR with burial in Union Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be Will Wood, David Laster, John, Opal, Lewis and Albert Horn.
The Family will visit with friends from 4-6 PM Friday at the funeral home.
