Bryan Dale “Bud” McAllister, 87 of Fort Smith passed away Monday, December 12, 2022 in his home. Bud was born February 8, 1935 in Fort Smith. He was a retired supervisor at Planter’s Peanuts. Bud was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; his parents, Ernest and Madge McAllister; a brother, Joe McAllister and three sisters, Barbara, Virginia and Beverly.

Bud is survived by a son, Doug McAllister and wife, Tina of Van Buren; his daughters, Kelly Wehunt and husband, Steve of Fort Smith, Holly Lyons and husband Brant of Fayetteville; his partner, Patricia J Turnbeaugh of the home; sisters, Mary Alice, Linda and Levonne; five grandchildren, Ashley Kimbrow and husband Jason of Fayetteville, Jay McAllister and wife, Corbi of Bryant; Taylor Wehunt and wife, Maddie of Fort Smith, Spencer and Parker Wehunt of Fort Smith; seven great grandchildren, McAllister, Pierce, Eve and Knox, Kimbrow, Crew McAllister, Lucas Tate Wehunt and Liam Lyons.

There will be no service at Bud’s request. All arrangements and cremation will be handled by Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
