Obituary for Barbara Joyce Langham (Williams)

Barbara Joyce Langham, 86, of Parsons, KS went to be with the Lord on August 18, 2022, at the time of her death she was living in the Good Samaritan Society. She was born on November 28, 1935 in Sherman, TX to Wesley and Alberta Williams. Barbara was raised on a farm in Southmayd, TX and was the youngest of three children. She was married to Wendell Langham for 58 years until he passed away in 2012. Wendell was called to preach in 1972 and they were in the ministry for over 20 years, spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through their love for Him. They ministered in churches in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and Kansas. Barbara and Wendell moved to Hurst, TX in 1993 and retired there. They were members of the California Lane Church of Christ in Arlington, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandchild, Jonathan Langham, a brother, Velton Williams and a sister, Coy Lee Simmons.
We honor her life and her commitment she made to those around her and those that she cared for unconditionally. She touched the lives of everyone around her with a cheerful heart, and her strength in Christ. She will always be remembered for her loving nature and dedication. She departs from us to go to heaven, but her impact in our hearts will remain to be carried on and held within us.
